I recently received this helpful tidbit from The School of Style. I took a few of their styling courses in NYC last year and would gladly take more. I met a lot of cool people and got the inside scoop on the styling industry. Despite popular belief, even the great ones started at the bottom getting coffee and steaming garments. And they did it for free. So scratch the idea of becoming the next June Ambrose hitting it big because you have a few business cards and amazing style. This week I’m mopping floors, next week I’m on fries.
